Well there have definitely been some changes lately here in the great white north........
Krista - Well she finally got her license and is driving back and forth to school now and doing some run around stuff for us. She is happy as a clam. She is starting softball full time again soon and we have the booster club meeting for that tomorrow. We are talking about letting her get a job. She wants one and we want to make sure between softball, and school she can handle it. If she gets to have a job we are thinking that it will only be a couple of days a week. It will be good for her to learn about what all a job involves and for her to make a little bit of her own money. She is really wanting to get a job, but Dave and I are still thinking about it at this point.
Ashley - She is getting stationed in Hawaii she is not real excited about it but Dave and I are trying to tell her she is more likely to get visitors in Hawaii then she in in say New Mexico. Her room mate and her have the same job and same graduation date. Her roommate is from Hawaii and all her family is there so she and Ashley agreed to switch assignments if the Air Force will let them. Her room mate received assignment to Clovis New Mexico. Ashley does not want to live on an island again and after listening to her roommate thinks that going to Hawaii will be the worst thing ever. Dave and I keep trying to tell her that she needs to be happy with where ever they send her and that she needs to learn to accept what is given to her. Dave doesn't think she will be able to change any way but we will see. She graduates Feb. 27th so she is almost done. We hope she is happy with were ever they send her.
Dave and Jen - Well we are doing good. The girls are both happy and healthy, the dog is good. Dave is winning sled races and I have been helping out at the races doing scoring and helping out. I got a job working for a consulting firm here in town. I am a business analyst for their Oil, Mining and Gas division. It is a long way from healthcare but hopefully I will be able to make the leap. Poor Kodiak is going to be traumatized because she will have to be locked up until one of us gets home from work or school. But hopefully she will do okay.
Well better run, the battery is dying. Love and miss you all!!!
