Just a few pictures for viewing.

We have progeress on the backyard, it is starting to look like a lawn finally. Jen is working hard and so is Krista. Me, well 26 hours in 2 days, might qualify. Here are a few pitures I took in the last few days.

The backyard is looking good.

Camping June 11th 2011

We decided to take a short camping trip about 15 miles from home, even though I have a ton of projects to do. I have to take advantage of the weekends that I get off with the family. Krista was able to get the weekend off from Subway also. We left Friday night and came home Sunday when Krista started having chest pains and couldn't breathe. We had a visit to the emergency room, and now a Dr appointment Wednesday. We think she may have been having some severe indigestion, but not sure. Jen made some awesome meals while we were out, have to say she can cook for sure. We took some photos, but I didn't get one of Jen stuck in the mud. Darn! Oh well. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Hiking the butte

Krista and I decided to hike the butte today since Jen had to work. The Butte is a small hill near palmer. The trail isn't very long, but is steep and you can get some really good views of the valley. It was a nice little hike. Afterwards I showed Krista how to change her brake pads and rotors on the drivers side of her car. Then I made her change the passenger side of the car. She did well. Jen had to work all day... too bad. Here are some pictures.

Backyard

I know not a spectacular picture, but there was a lot of work to get this started and now I am seeing some green stuff. Hopefully another few weeks and it will be ready for a mowing.

This picture is just for all the weather nuts out there. I just love the crisp white against the blue sky.

Panoramic picture

Thanks to a good friend of ours (thanks Sam) I am able to share a 6 picture panoramic from last weekend.

Memorial weekend camping

We went camping on the Denali Highway for 4 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. We left Thursday night and came back Monday. We didn't get to do any fishing since the water was so high, but we did a lot of 4 wheeling.

Here are some caribou that Jen took a picture of.

I was able to catch this one up on the ridge checking me out.

Seattle Creek flowing very high.

We cut down a tree and had a lot of wood.

A couple of caribou that tried to run me over.

Catch!

Ahh I found snow, this is how summer should always be.
