Krista's Jeep

Well we have finally bought Krista a car, a Jeep to be exact.  We have been watching craigslist for some time now, waiting for the right deal to come along and it finally did.  Jeeps up here are a gold mine and typically hard to find for a reasonable price, but finally we found one.  It is a 1998 wrangler and boy are Dave and I jealous,  It looks just like the one I used to have and Dave is jealous cause it is better than the one he used to have ha ha!!  As you can see she is pretty happy with it.  We got her a personalized plate that will be here in about 3 months, three guesses on what it is......... UMPA 6, umpa cause she is our little umpaloompa and 6 because that is her favorite number, I know spoiled rotten isn't she, I guess that is what happens when you are the youngest ha ha.  Krista is a bit of a redneck at heart like David and I so she has big hopes and dreams to jack it up and put big monster tires on it.  Dave and I told her she has to learn to drive it the way it is and then her and the money fairy can talk about "rednecking" out the jeep. Ha Ha!! We also told her that once she gets her license she aslo has to get a J O B!! So we will see how that goes ha ha. Needless to say driving lessons on a stick shift have begun and right now she is doing well in the school  parking lot and hasn't side swiped any parked cars, thank goodness.  We have let her out on the road a few times and lets just say both Dave and I have a few more gray hairs than we used to.  Ha Ha, thank goodness she is the last driver we will be training, not sure we could handle another one ha ha.

Well that is it for now, more to come later as graduation is two weeks away!!!  See you all soon!

PS the mountain picture was taken today April 23rd, so that should give you an idea of what it will more than likely look like when you all come up.  Notice still lots of snow in the hills and no green.  So bring some warmer clothes and pack a couple of cooler clothes as who knows what the temperature will actually be by graduation.
